Congratulations to Dr. Victoria Bird!

FUS Member Recieves Amerson Family/Urology Care Foundation Humanitarian Endowment Fund

Dr. Victoria Bird was named the 2022 recipient of the Amerson Family/Urology Care Foundation Humanitarian Endowment Fund. This award is given annually to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional and outstanding commitment to the medically underserved in their community.

Dr. Bird was chosen from a large group of highly qualified and committed candidates. Dr. Bird is a practicing Urologist in Gainesville, Florida. In addition to running a very busy Urology practice and her research foundation, she commits considerable time to helping the medically underserved in her community, by assisting them in accessing and receiving the care they need. Dr. Bird is also actively involved personally in assisting underserved patients in need. She also has considerable experience in assisting minorities and women receive wellness and health-related education and care.

As the recipient of this award, Dr. Bird will be able to greatly enhance her efforts in caring for the underserved, with the provision of support programs for testing and needed care.
